Wellington, FL (April 23, 2021) - Selecting a doctor, especially one that can influence your day-to-day appearance and performance, is a critical choice. Equestrians, as athletes who rely on their bodies and minds for success in the show ring, are no exception. This season, when show jumper Gabriela Reutter was looking for an office for with her skincare, aesthetic medicine, and even anti-aging treatments, she found The Wellington Institute and the Ivy League-trained ophthalmologist, Dr. Jennine Cabanaellas. Board Certified in Ophthalmology and Anti-Aging and Aesthetic Medicine, Dr. Cabanaellas has been helping equestrians of all ages and disciplines achieve their goals, from attaining higher energy levels and weight loss to skincare, Botox, and hormone replacement.

One of Reutter's prime concerns for Dr. Cabanaellas was skincare. Spending hours in the Florida sun and with the glare of white arena sand, preventing burns and skin damage/aging was one of her main concerns. Dr. Cabanaellas as developed an equestrian skincare line, which features Vitamin C therapy, sunscreen, moisturizers, and acne treatments. All of The Wellington Institute's skincare line are medical grade, meaning they cannot be purchased over the counter and have a much higher potency. Each client also receives a customization to the skincare line. For Reutter, it was boosted sunscreen and treatment for skin irritations caused by the helmet's pressure on her forehead.

The Wellington Institute also offers Vitamin Shots and IV Cocktails to boost energy, immunity, and overall health. These shots have been a favorite of equestrians to reduce recovery time and prepare for large competitions.

In addition to skincare, the Chilean show jumper also sought Dr. Cabanaellas' medical advice on aesthetics. Having an asymmetrical, thin upper lip, Reutter was interested in medical filler to enhance the fullness of her pout. As a board certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Cabanaellas is an expert on the use of fillers and Botox. Originally developed as a treatment for spasming eye muscles, Botox was first developed in the field of ophthalmology and remains an area of expertise for all eye doctors.

Just a week or so after her first visit to The Wellington Institute, Reutter rode her Grand Prix Selle Français gelding, Atticus Diamant, to victory in back to back CSI 2-star Grand Prix classes during WEF 11.

"Knowing that Jennine is an expert and highly trained medical doctor made all the difference," said Reutter of her experience at The Wellington Institute. "My health and aesthetics aren't something I can afford to compromise on, and capitalizing on her knowledge was the best part of my visit. I plan to use The Wellington Institute every season."

The Wellington Wellness Institute’s services include anti-aging packages: multi-vitamins, high grade fish oil and supplements to optimize energy, mental acuity, and weight loss; bio-identical hormone replacement to replenish hormones using the same molecular structure as those uniquely produced by a client’s own body; HCG & medical weight loss therapies; body rejuvenation; Botox, fillers, lasers, and medical grade skincare. Dr. Cabanaellas manages the aging process of more than 300 pro and amateur athletes, 16 Olympians, and several C-suite individuals.
