Equestrian Wellness: A Lifestyle Brand Parallel for Lumiere Horses

Wellington, FL (May 26, 2020) - The best partnerships are born out of organic appreciation. True parallels in lifestyle, mindsets, and belief systems are the foundation upon which Gabriela Reutter of Lumiere Horses chose her latest sponsor and partner, Equestrian Wellness. The 23-year-old international Grand Prix show jumper has focused her professional career on a program based in horsemanship, wellness, and performance, so when she found Equestrian Wellness's line of clean products and lifestyle coaching, the synergy was second nature.

Reutter's first introduction to the EqWell brand began with their all natural helmet spray, which became an essential part of her training routine. Impressed with the fresh, clean scent, quality of the ingredients, and the product's ability to keep her face clear and hair smelling wonderful, Reutter began trying other items in the product line, which includes lip balm, hairspray, and essential oils. During the WEF 2020 season in Florida, she contacted EqWell's founder, Valerie Breslow, and the easy symbiosis between EqWell and Lumiere Horses was catalyzed in earnest. The purity of the partnership (both literally and figuratively) was further enhanced by the current health crisis, where a focus on immunity and clean living are now even more in the spotlight. With a training program that focuses on health and performance for both herself and her horses, Reutter's international Grand Prix and U25 successes are based on a foundation of healthy and clean lifestyle choices. EqWell's essential oils for calming, focus, and immunity have also become ubiquitous in her daily routine.

With the inception of the partnership between Lumiere and EqWell, Reutter also began utilizing Breslow's customized wellness coaching, which covers a variety of topics including nutrition, mental and physical wellbeing, and strategies for success in the competitive arena.

"One of the aspects of EqWell's coaching that really stood out to me was Valerie's mental coaching," said Reutter. "I had always focused on pre-show preparation and focus; she impressed upon me the importance of post-show wind downs, and how to channel the energy and emotions following a competition into powerful strategies to improve subsequent training sessions or identify issues. She also pointed out a lot of missing nutritional elements, including fatty acids, food combinations, collagen for vegans, and mindful eating. In just a month, she has positively influenced my training and fitness program without asking me to compromise the core values on which I've based my riding career. She tailors her knowledge to best benefit her clients, as opposed to a rigid program that may not conform to all aspects of someone's lifestyle."

Breslow, the founder of EqWell, holistic nutritionist, wellness coach, and amateur rider, was impressed by Reutter's tenacity and dedication to her professional, equestrian, and health goals. "It really was a perfect pairing," said Breslow. "She had fully embraced many of the important aspects of clean, organic living and performance before we met, and with the addition of wellness coaching and nutritional advice, she has reached a new level of performance. We are excited to follow her career and continue to support her goals as a professional equestrian."
